The PCR will participate in the PhagoDAIR trial, a randomized,
non-comparative, double-blinded phase I/II clinical study using
phage cocktails in patients with S. aureus
periprosthetic-joint infections with indication for
debridement, antibiotic and implant retention (ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT05369104)
clinicaly executed at the department of trauma surgery
(Director: Prof. Dr. Dr. Volker Alt).
